The Jewell Case

Coco Jem Holiday

Coco Jem Holiday is one of the original CD'S. She is the C in the CD'S and she has been doing drag for over 4 years and wants to use her drag to perform activism in the community. Her inspirations are Jennifer Hudson, Jennifer Holiday and Jem from Jem and The Holograms. When she first started drag she was really unsure of her future with it. Ever since she started throwing shows she learned that she loves to entertain people. Coco is a talented singer and because of all the stages that have been given to drag queens ever since the CD'S came about, she has been able to share her gifts with a wider audience. Also, if you have a question about your love life, she loves to get her coco for thought. *Tastes like coco, feels like a holiday*

Dontella Mysecrets-De'Ore

Donatella Mysecrets: Grand Junction's resident trash queen and dominatrix Barbie. Donatella makes up one third of the girl group The CD'S, and is known for her theatrical and sometimes campy performance style. Donatella is not afraid to break the mold in drag and make people question their traditional ideas about beauty. She is a healthy mix between party girl and femme fatale, so she can be a bit feisty at times. Most importantly don't tell her secrets... her ratted out wigs are full of them.

Oliver Twyst

Picture
Oliver Twyst is brand new to the drag scene, having only done one show, but has been honorably inducted into the Jewel Case. After living in St. Louis for a short period of time, Ollie got that old familiar drag itch that couldn't be tamed until his first performance, which was graciously granted to him by Coco in the most recent "Variety's a Drag Relay for Life" show, and only fueled his need for bigger, better drag. Since then, he's been scouring YouTube for inspiration and choreography, perusing the Internet for tips and tricks when it comes to passing as a male, and of course, looking up to his drag queen family for confidence and reassurance, which they willingly supply. Oliver is not only a drag king, but is also genderfluid, and has started to prefer gender neutral pronouns off-stage. In being accepted into the Jewel Case, Ollie has finally found his niche in Grand Junction, and is ecstatic to have done so.

Rayne Starrs

Rayne Starrs-Cockswell our local transgender lesbian, ninja princess, drag queen has been preforming on stage for a little over a year now and has grown so much throughout her journey. Every time she steps up on stage she tries to inspire the crowd to be themselves. She truly believes in each if our individual strengths and thinks we should stand for what we truly believe and triesto show that in her preformances. She is currently our Ms Western Rockies Shining Star and is always looking for new opportunities to inspire others by showing them you can do anything you truly put your mind to. Being pulished author, an Accredited Jewellery Professional, pageant title holder and drag preformer Rayne Starrs-Cockswell is proof that everyone should follow their dreams.
