I'm going to toot my own horn for a second. Yes, that's tacky but it's my Facebook Wall .
I threw a drag show last night at Barons GJ. Outside of my performers, no one else knew that this show was probably met with my more adversity then any other show I've thrown. However, that only fueled my fire for the event to be successful.
And this event was packed without any fights and very little drama.
Mission accomplished. I've never thrown a show in Grand Junction that didn't bring the bar a crap ton of new business and good publicity/tips for my performers.
With that, I'd like to thanks each of the performers. Last minute changes and everything. I'm surprised we got off the ground. Special shoutout to Angel Garibay for being my halftime entertainment and Conrad Christopher for making sure I didn't go insane with the contest
I'm not gonna lie but I actually had fun last night. I never usually have fun at shows I throw. Lots of planning and stuff but this time was really great. I loved getting to perform and I actually got to watch a lot of numbers. Looks like 2015 is going to be a good year for drag!
